FALL-ing in love with AUTUMN

I have been in search of an easy craft/tutorial to decor this tineee-tiny room I'm staying @ and make it feel autumn-y.
Since U.S. is not like Philippines that when BER months hits, almost every household brings out their Christmas decors out of their storage and starts putting it up one by one.
Most of my ornament is back in California so I need to create/copy something that is simple, cheap & can be found inside the house.

I found this beautiful home decorations great for autumn.

Its is so simple but it looks very decorative too. Anyone can do this!
from SAS Interiors centerpiece log (click HERE for tutorial)
Who would think that a branch or a log can be turned into a decorative centerpiece like this one?
Dean & Shanon's Pottery Barn Decorative Ledge Knockoff Mantel(click HERE for tutorial)
I DO NOT HAVE A MANTEL BUT MAYBE I CAN PULL THIS UP SOMEWHERE IN THIS TINY SPACE.

Infinity Captive

There is something about water that is calming. Soaking in a tub after a stressful day at work. Staring at an aquarium relieves stress. A get away to the beach from busy city life. It's beautiful sights, soothing sounds, and refreshing salty air, the beach has a way of captivating people. As waves repeatedly hits the shore and retreats in a continous cycle there' something about the waters that greatly helps us to relax and achieve that peace.

One of my dream is to have infinity pool overlooking the city....

or infinity pool by the beach.

Imagining myself reading and relaxing as I watch the sunset.

I think its a good place to meditate.

What is your stress reliever?

SPOOK UP!!!

Seeing Things----Conjure up the illusion of haunted spirits with this easy project. Sand a corner of an old mirror down until it is clear, feathering it at the edge. Copy a photo of a frightened face onto translucent paper and again on white paper. Tape the translucent print to the back of the mirror, then tape the white one behind it, slightly off-center for a ghostly image.

Go green this Halloween! Misuse and just throwing things that can still be repurposed causes the mounting piles of trash. I found this really fun and easy to make decorative pieces in Better Homes and Gardens and Country Living. I think they are cute, you dont need to go out and buy some of these expensive pieces that you would only use for a couple days for halloween. When you look around your house and get your creative mind going I'm sure you will find things that gives you same ideas as this pictures. Empty cans of folgers coffee wrapped in orange paper with crazy shapes cut off its surface, place candle or tea lights in it, line them on your porch and you have jack o' lantern! Recycling is not boring. It is still the best way to decorate our homes. Adding personal touch to it makes it special & extraordinary. Be imaginative!
